A Company Performance. A Full Stage. One Spectacular Night.

Only In New York is the Encore Theatrical Arts Project's annual spring revue, and it is the most ambitious showcase of the company's talent all season. The full ETAP company takes the stage across two nights, performing across all major dance styles in a show that celebrates the artistry, discipline, and performance range of one of Northern Virginia's most accomplished pre-professional performing arts companies.

ETAP dancers train and perform in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Ballroom, and this show brings every one of those disciplines to a single stage in one high-energy evening. This is not a student recital. It is a company performance, and the standard reflects the full season of professional-level training behind every number.

The Company Behind the Show+
  • Serves as the premier spring mainstage revue for ETAP dancers following their 12-show holiday season.
  • Prepares company dancers for collegiate conservatories, commercial dance, and professional theatre careers.
  • Company dancers maintain 8 to 13 hours of weekly technical training along with mandatory weekend rehearsals leading up to showtime.
  • Performance cast consists exclusively of dancers admitted into the non-profit Encore Theatrical Arts Project company, by annual audition or faculty invitation.

Tickets for ETAP performances are sold through the company's own site, encore-tap.org. The theater fills quickly for ETAP shows, so plan to arrive early to find your seats.
