Why It Matters

This Is Where Real Training Begins

At Encore Performers, ages 7 to 10 is when dance gets serious in the best possible way.

We focus on building strong technical foundations, disciplined movement, and real performance skills inside a warm, uplifting studio environment. Here, your child learns proper technique, masters real steps, and grows into a confident, capable performer.

Whether your dancer is joining for the first time or ready to pursue a more intensive path, Encore provides a structured track built for where they are today and designed to grow with them as their commitment deepens.

FAQ

Questions Parents Ask About the Junior Program

Straight answers to the things families want to know before booking.

Can my child try more than one style of dance?+

Absolutely. We actively encourage dancers to explore multiple disciplines to build versatility and discover their true passion.

What level of experience does my child need to join?+

None required for recreational classes. New dancers start at Level 1.

What is Broadway Bound and is it right for my child?+

Broadway Bound is a class that brings dance, singing, and acting together in one session. It is not a replacement for a Jazz or Tap class but a powerful complement to it. If your child loves being on stage, gravitates toward musical theatre, or simply wants to try something different, Broadway Bound is worth exploring. It is one of our most popular Junior programs.

How do you handle shy or first-time dancers at this age?+

Our master faculty uses warm, positive reinforcement to draw quieter students out naturally, building confidence through clear structure and small wins.

Will my child have the opportunity to perform?+

Yes. All recreational Junior dancers perform in our annual end-of-year recital, with additional performance opportunities available through our Performance Team and ETAP company.

This Is Where Your Dancer's Story Begins.

The moment your child walks in, they will feel it, this is a place to belong, grow, and become who they are meant to be.
