Children between the ages of 3 and 6 are at a remarkable stage of development. Their bodies are building coordination and balance. Their minds are learning how to follow directions, take turns, and be part of a group. Their confidence is shaped by every small win, every time they get the combination right, every time a teacher calls their name and says well done.
Our Munchkin and Mini classes are designed around exactly that. Every class builds foundational motor skills, rhythm awareness, and spatial coordination through age-appropriate movement and music. More than that, they build the kind of social confidence that carries a child far beyond the studio floor.

The perfect first step into dance. This combo class splits equally between ballet and tap, giving Munchkin dancers a taste of two foundational styles in one fun, age-appropriate session. Little ones build coordination, rhythm, and listening skills while developing their very first love of movement.
Big smiles, big energy, and movement that feels like play. Mini Hip Hop classes introduce street style grooves and upbeat combinations that build rhythm, coordination, and stage presence from the very first class.
Ballet builds the physical foundation that supports every other style of dance. Mini dancers develop posture, balance, coordination, and body control through structured movement that is always taught with patience, encouragement, and care.
Two high-energy styles combined into one class that kids at this age take to immediately. Jazz builds rhythm and musicality while tap channels their natural enthusiasm into structured combinations that build confidence and a genuine love of moving to music.

Not at all. Our Munchkin and Mini classes are designed for beginners. Our teachers meet every child exactly where they are and build from there.
Comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows your child to move freely. For ballet, a leotard and tights are ideal. For jazz, tap, and hip hop, fitted pants or shorts with a tucked-in top work great. We will walk you through specific shoe requirements once your child is enrolled.
Separation anxiety is completely normal at this age. We ask parents to drop off at the door rather than sit in on class, as children typically settle much faster without a parent in the room. Most kids are smiling within the first ten minutes.
Classes for our youngest dancers run approximately 45 minutes. A typical session includes a warm-up, a structured combination or two, and a short cool-down activity, keeping little ones engaged from start to finish.
Yes. All Munchkin and Mini dancers perform in our annual recital. We prepare every child fully so that by the time they step on stage, they feel ready and excited.
