Bring-a-Friend Week is Encore's annual invitation to share the studio with someone new. Your friend joins you in a real class, meets your teachers and fellow dancers, and gets a look at what training here is actually like.
There is no pressure and no audition. If dance clicks for them, great. If they just have a great time and go home, that works too. The only requirement is that you sign them up before the week begins so we are ready to welcome them properly when they walk in.
Any friend you want to share this with. They do not need to have danced before, and they do not need to be enrolled at Encore or anywhere else. All experience levels are welcome. The only requirement is that they fit the age range of the class they will be joining.
Friends are welcome in all recreational and ITP-level classes throughout the week. ETAP company classes and Performance Team rehearsals are not open to guest participants during Bring-a-Friend Week. When in doubt, check with the front desk before signing your friend up for a specific class.
Yes. Use the registration form to sign your friend up before the week begins. This gives the studio time to prepare and makes sure your friend gets a proper welcome on arrival. Unregistered guests may not be able to participate.
Comfortable, movement-friendly clothing they can move freely in. Dance shoes are a bonus but not required. Athletic wear or leggings are all they need.
We would love that. At the end of the week, any friend who wants to continue can speak with the front desk about scheduling a trial class and getting enrolled in the right class for their age and experience level.
Bring-a-Friend Week runs Monday through Saturday. Sign your friend up for the class that works best for both of you. All registrations use the same form.
