Tween & Teen Dancers
Age 10-12 | 12-18

Our Tween and Teen Programs are designed to give dancers ages 10–18 a place to learn, grow, and thrive alongside peers their own age. Whether your dancer is just starting out or has years of experience, we offer classes in every style and at every level to meet them where they are. From flexible recreational classes to more intensive training opportunities, there’s a program to fit every dancer’s goals and schedule.

Recreational Program

Ideal for dancers who want flexibility, our recreational classes allow students to build their own schedule, explore multiple dance styles, and train at their own pace—all while balancing other interests and commitments.

Immersive Training Program (ITP)

For dancers ready to commit to a more structured curriculum, ITP provides intensive training in jazz, tap, and ballet, with electives in hip hop and contemporary. This program emphasizes strong technique, discipline, and artistry, helping motivated dancers achieve measurable progress.

Encore Theatrical Arts Project (ETAP)

ETAP is a non-profit pre-professional performing arts company for dedicated dancers pursuing advanced musical theatre training. Company members train in all major dance styles, while also developing acting and vocal skills, and perform in full-scale productions and community events throughout the year.

Recreational Dance Program | Tweens Age 10-12

Our Tween Program is designed specifically for dancers who are beginning or continuing their training around ages 10–12. This allows tweens who are new to dance to learn alongside peers their own age, rather than starting out in classes with much younger children.

Classes are offered in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Broadway Bound at Levels 1–3. Each level is carefully structured to build upon the previous one, with dancers typically spending about two years per level to develop a strong foundation before moving forward.

Dancers can build their own schedule, choosing the styles and number of classes that fit their interests and lifestyle. Many dancers stay in the recreational program through graduation, gaining skills that prepare them for musicals, school productions, and dance teams—all while growing in a fun, supportive environment with peers their age.

Recreational Dance Program | Teens Age 12+

Our Teen Program is designed for dancers ages 12–18 who want to keep building their skills while balancing school, sports, or other activities. Whether continuing from the Tween program or starting fresh as a teen, dancers can train in an encouraging environment with peers their own age.

Classes are offered in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Broadway Bound at Levels 1–3. Each level is carefully structured to build upon the last, with dancers typically spending about two years in a level before advancing. This ensures steady progress and a strong technical foundation.

With the flexibility to choose their own schedule and styles, teens can shape their dance journey in a way that works best for them. Many remain in the recreational program through high school, gaining confidence, performance experience, and technique that serve them well in musicals, school productions, and dance teams—while enjoying the benefits of dance in a fun, supportive community.
