DRESS CODE
All dancers must have the required shoes and appropriate clothing for the various class styles as listed in our dress code.

TUITION
Tuition is calculated based on the number of class hours per week, per family. It is paid in 10 equal installments, accounting for all studio closings, from September-June.
WITHDRAWAL
Class registration is for the full school year (September-June). One month's notice in writing is required for discontinuing any classes prior to the end of the year. Withdrawal after April 1st is not permitted. Students who drop after April 1st will be required to pay the remaining months' tuition. Notification of any changes and/or cancellation must be emailed to encoreperformers@gmail.com . No changes or cancellation will be accepted via phone.

ABSENCES, CLOSINGS, & MAKEUPS
You pay for the spot in the class, not your attendance. No makeup classes will be provided. We do not follow Fairfax County Public Schools closings for inclement weather. Notifications will be sent via email and social media to update as needed.

REFUNDS
Encore Performers does not offer refunds or credits for classes/lessons missed due to student absence/non-attendance, inclement weather or similar circumstances. The schedule is subject to change or cancellation based on enrollment. Students will be contacted one week prior to the beginning of a class, camp or intensive if a cancellation is deemed necessary due to low enrollment. A refund for any fees paid will be issued.

SUMMER
Payment in full of all current and past due charges is required in order to participate in summer programs. The schedule is subject to change or cancellation based on enrollment. Students will be contacted one week prior to the beginning of a class, camp or intensive if a cancellation is deemed necessary due to low enrollment. A refund for any fees paid will be issued.
Cancellation 4 weeks before start: $25 cancelation fee.
Cancellation 3 weeks before start: 75% of tuition refundable.
Cancellation 2 weeks before start: 50% of tuition refundable.
Cancellation 1 week before start: 25% of tuition refundable.

SPRING RECITAL
This end of the year performance will be held June 1&2, 2024. Please clear your calendar for that weekend so your student does not miss this exciting opportunity. All students are expected to perform on both days (Saturday & Sunday).

Your account must be current to take part in the recital. It is held at the Richard J Ernst Theatre on the NOVA Annandale Campus. Recital tickets are $26-$32 per ticket and go on sale on May 1.
FEES
Annual Registration fee per student: $45 (Annual Reg. Fee is valid through June 2024 and non-refundable)
Costume fee: $85 per class.
All families will be charged a recital media fee for a digital copy of the recital performance; $20 for students in 1-2 dances, $40 for students in 3+ dances.
Payments made by credit card will assess additional fees.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Encore Performers reserves the right to use any images of your child, including but not limited to photos and videos, for promotional, marketing and advertising materials (this includes posting on Encore Performer's website and other social media pages).

COVID-19
I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that I or any family member may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 while on site at Encore Performers and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at the dance studio may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, students at Encore Performers, Encore Performer's employees, volunteers, and program participants and their families. I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to any family member or myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind ("Claims"), that any family member or myself may experience or incur in connection with any family member's or my attendance at the dance studio or participation in dance activities. On my behalf, and on behalf of my family, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Encore Performers, Encore Performers and their employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating to attendance at the dance studio. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Encore Performers and their employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in dance studio activities.

LIABILITY
Dancers are given permission to attend activities, events, competitions, etc. relating to Encore Performers Inc. and release it's owner, staff, instructors, choreographers, landlords, or lessors from any and all liability for injury, Damage to property, whether based on allegations of negligence or not; in any way incurred by reason of participation in any class, program, activity, event, competition, etc. offered at or by Encore Performers Inc.
